'du' not working correctly in F8.

I recently stumbled with this problem, which I'm not sure if is local to my system or if other F8 systems also show this behavior. The 'du' command is not working correctly, it is part of the 'coreutils' package, and its name stands for "disk usage". Now, what doesn't work specifically is that the -s switch doesn't seem to be working. The -s or --summarize switch to this command should sum up the different results from the argument. If for example that argument is *.{some_extension}, the format of the output should be a list of all the files matching the extension, plus a line with a sum of the sizes and the argument. At least that used to be is behavior, however, for some reason that doesn't seem to be the case any more. I was trying to determine the collective size of .ogg files in a directory I have both .flac and .ogg files, but for some reason when running 'du -sh *ogg' didn't return the final line stating the sum of all the sizes, plus the argument *ogg. This is with F8 x86_64, anyone else seen this behavior for 'du' instead of the usual one?
