Fedora 9 Max Memory

Can someone tell me the maximum ram memory Fedora 9 can support in a 32 bits system? XP 32 bits is 3 gigs.

Regards.

Hello:
Using a kernel-PAE and assuming your cpu supports Physical Address Extensions [PAE] then the number would be .... 64Gig.
You can search the forum for this topic as it has been discussed many times and may provide you with more information.

Thanks, Seve. My MOBO supports only up to 4 gigs. Pls let me know where I can find a MOBO that has 64 of 32 slots to accommodate the mem sticks to have 64 gigs... I already found that the max is 3 gigs for 32 bits.

Regards.

Well, based on what I found I might use 4 gigs. Fedora 9 Sulphur has the latest kernel 2.6.25 that supports PAE. My PC has a Pentium 4 CPU that also supports PAE. So, I think I might be able to use 4 gigs after all.

Thanks again for the hint. Regards.
