The "Zoom" and "My Favourites" keys don't work. xev doesn't report a keycode for them so they can't be assigned. If anyone knows how to please share it.
I should add I'm running F8 KDE but that shouldn't affect the config files.

thanks a lot mate...sorry about the delay...
the favourates button works for me in Fedora9 /Gnome...but the zoom buttons dont...
i have mapped most of the special buttons using the "keyboard shortcuts" application provided in System>Preferences>Personal>Keyboard Shortcuts...
mapped everything except the zoom switch...mapped even the special configurable buttons...
mapped button1 to computer
mapped button2 to terminal
mapped button3 to ----
mapped button4 to befault media player
mapped button5 to lockscreen
i wish i had more options in the keyboard shortcuts application....the application recognises every signal and returns scan-code except the scan-code of zoom button...
