Monitor type not detected: wrong resolution

Hi,

After reinstalling Fedora 10, the monitor (15" LCD) is not detected properly and the max resolution given by the "Screen resolution" tool is 800x600 at 60 Hz instead of 1024x768. I can't find xorg.conf anywhere to change it manually. How can I change it?

Thanks

-> start 'system-config-display' (install this if it's not present)
-> Hardware Tab
-> Monitor Type
-> Choose a generic LCD display that matches your screen's resolution.

Thank you!! Had to install it, but now the resolution is ok.
