Firefox navigation buttons are disabled

Please advise on how to troubleshoot / fix this. I have just freshly installed Fedora 10 on my notebook. Two applications that are not from the official repo are installed, namely sun java and adobe flash. Desktop effects are installed. Fully updated at the time of this writing.

Would anyone be kind enough to guide me on which files are to be edited. I could paste configs here, only tell me what configs are to be shown.

A windoze style approach did the job. I just removed it and then reinstall it again.
