xmms streams

has any one had streamming problems with xmms? it used to work on kernel 2.6.6, but ever since 2.6.7 streaming just skips or stops playing after about 30 seconds. is this an alsa problem or a xmms problem? playing cds and mp3 of the hard drive works fine, though.

Not with web streams over http. But I have had some stopping problems when playing stuff from Windows Samba shares.

I haven't tried changing the streaming buffer size for the mpeg input plugin yet. I don't know if it will help, as xmms just stops.
