Is it safe to update dbus now ? shall I install gnome-packagekit now ?

Since the famous dbus , package kit bug I had to do a couple of fresh installs because I couldn't solve them , so I ended up removing packagekits and skipping dbus from the updates - last time I checked was when kernel 2.6.27.7-134.fc10.i686 released . Now i ran a yum update , found a new kernel , dbus updates and some other things , Does this dbus update solve the previous issues ? or there are still problems ? Shall i install all updates and then install gnome-PackageKit or vice-versa - if i were to install any updates - Thanks in advance guys

Thanks for the quick reply (y) , well maybe its watching Dr.Cox changing a 2 syllable word into 200 syllable word or it could be JD's hair , so many things get me there , I cant wait to watch season 8
