can i program with python using monodevelop,and how?

i'd say thats close to heresy around these parts

i know microsoft acquired ironpython, but not sure how well it runs on mono rather than visual studio, probably not at all if i know microsoft.

maybe ask on a gnome developers mailinglist, they seem to love mono.
