I'm not sure if this belongs in two threads or not, but well, here's the problem. RhythmBox has always crashed randomly, that isn't really a rare occurrence for me. Most of the time it'll crash while I'm trying to import a cd, so i just switched to using sound juicer for that (plus SJ is alot faster)
Now RB can't get through a song without crashing, and sometimes crashes as soon as I start it. the recent error reports all seem to say that I couldn't connect to the music brainz server, and for some reason that is causing it to crash. (if anyone wants me to include the error report i will)
Then I try and submit the bug report, and it can never connect to server. I have a large stash of error reports that i've saved that need to be sent.
And I'm not sure if this is related or not, but when I try to install packages, it always has to try several servers before it can finally connect to one of them (which makes installing software a very lengthy process)
Any ideas on what could be happening? I'm getting very annoyed with it all.
