Music Player wont play any music

Hi All,

For some reason, whenever I try to play an mp3, the music player opens and an error box pops up saying:

'Could not start pipeline playing'.

All of the sound system is fine, with GNOME system events, and XMMS being able to play mp3s perfectly.

What setting do I need to change to get the music player application working?

Many thanks.

What kind of music files are you trying to play?

In Fedora, support for mp3 files have been removed due to patent issues in the USA.

To re-add mp3 support: www.fedorafaq.org/#xmms-mp3 or if you use rhythmbox: www.fedorafaq.org/#rhythmbox-mp3
