Amarok through speakers and wine game through headphones???

I have been searching for some time, but I am far from an ALSA guru. My fiance does not prefer the sound of grenades and bullets over jack johnson, but I do... sometimes ( Jack rocks!! ) I only have one sound card but it is a 7.1 surround I think... It has six jacks, on is mic tho, and an spdif, and identifies itself as

the latter is a tv capture card. Any wisdom?

I'm guessing from my reading and the lack of response that this is not possible without a second sound card? Kinda sucks as I have a microatx box

I was going to suggest one computer with the game player wearing headphones and one mp3 player with the listener wearing earbuds.

I actually do have a computer right next to mine for her, but mine has the better speakers
