what is the path for icon folder?

hi guys,
can any one tell me the path for the icon folder in f10?.
i want to manually go there and paste the untared icon directory.

(please give me the simple path like home>>username>> etc bcz im not expertin linux)

/usr/share/icons if I'm understanding correctly what you're after?

by the way i just now came to know that i couldnt manually copy paste the directory unless im loged in as root.
can anyone tell me how to copy the directory in username/Download to /usr/share/icons
i mean i want the code to copy the directory from download folder to the icon folder.

..Or you could just copy to ~/.icons
