RaLink RT3090 wireless card

I am trying to get a RaLink RT3090 wireless card working with Fedora 11. I have downloaded the linux driver from their site and compiled it. The driver comes up OK but it wants to get all into information from it's own config file not /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-wlan0

Does anybody have any experience setting up this card?
