Fedora 11 Gnome Startup Applications

Hi

I have been trying to add startup applications in Gnome using System>Preference>Startup Aplications in Fedora 11, however it seems the added apps are not saved and are not run. I have also noticed that when using the fwbackups backup utility and checking run on login does not work either. I suspect this is a Gnome issue. Has any one come across this and found a work around...

Thanks

Michael
