My Fedora Core 11 installation (updated) has the amusing behavior that the machine gets slower and slower after I turn it on. Within fifteen minutes it is effectively frozen. A window did pop up and notified me of a kernal faiture and I checked the selections to notify the developers. Is there any local record of this failure? The dmesg log showed nothing that failed.
When effectively frozen, a momentary press of the power button will pop up the shutdown window and after 60 seconds the machine does shut down.
