Fedora live disk creation & disk image backup

Hi friends

I need little help on live disk creation and disk image backup.

Can I create live disk using my hard drive installation? If yes then, can I restore the fedora from the live disk to the hard drive. I mean to say that from that live disk can I install fedora again in my hard drive.

Second question is, if I create the disk image of my hard drive( including ntfs & FAT32 partition) , can I restore it in a blank drive.
If so , then can os will be restored also?

You should use System Rescue CD which has FSArchiver. That would enable you to backup and restore your installation, I don't know about making a live-cd from it.

If your Fedora installation is functional, then you can create a live-usb with it by downloading a utility:liveusb-creator . However, the image on the live-usb will be one of the ISO images you get from Fedora live-CD download site. I don't suppose you can create a live-usb from the installed image.

Its possible to make a installable livecd/dvd of your current system

did a small forensic ... following your link, and couldn't locate the exact guide. I'd really like to learn this one.

Mighty thanks for that.... will check it out. I already have a local copy (repo) of packages installed on my box. This should make reinstallation easy. Thanks
