Acer Aspire 5500 Touchpad under Fedora 11

Hello,

today i removed fedora 8 from my aspire 5500, because i wanted to install the new f11.
everything worked fine under F8.

The setup process starts all fine, but unfortunately the integrated touchpad was without any function during the whole setup!

I installed Fedora 11 only by using the keyboard, hoping the touchpad would work after the installation......it does not!

As I mentioned above, under F8 it worked as it should.... so maybe a kernel problem?

I´m just getting used to Linux...so if anybody could help me...it would be great.

Hihi,

now its starting to get funny, sometimes (i think when i´ve touched the touchpad) my keyboard stops to work.

Only a reboot can fix that...what the h... is that?

I solved the problem.

I patched the kernel to 2.6.30.5 and everything is fine...
