Yup no luck with listening.
Google Ubuntu old tutorials point into nonexisting package in Fedora.
Fedora mp3 in wiki do not talks about JuK.

question really is: how to enable extra codecs for phonon

short answer: enable rpmfusion, do one of:
yum groupinstall sound-and-video
or
yum groupinstall kde-desktop

I already have mp3 in (k)mplayer.
