Issues waking from Hibernation/Sleep mode

I'm using Fedora 11, KDE 4.3.2. Whenever I suspend my system to RAM or disk I am unable to come out of it. Ctrl-alt-delete won't work, nor does any combination of keystrokes or mouse clicks. At this point all I can do is hold down the power button to turn it off completely. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

RE: Issues waking from Hibernation/Sleep mode

I'm running a Compaq Presario F700, I forgot to put that in there. I recently switched from Ubuntu 9.10 to F11 and I did not have this problem in Ubuntu.

This may or may not help, but on my F12 pc I had it in hibernation; and when I powered back on it looked like it was coming up then the screen went blank and my monitor came up with 'no signal'. Hmmm, odd.

I tried shift to come out of sleep mode, nothing. Before I rebooted I decided to try to get to a terminal and did ctrl-alt-fn (4 or 5 I think?), and it brought up a terminal window. Then I alt-f1 to get to the desktop and there it was!
