Firefox redirect loop

I've just recently installed Fedora 11, and every time I try to connect to a webpage through Firefox, I get the message:
"The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
- This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I have all cookies enabled, and my network connection is very strong. I've tried pinging various webpages, and every one of them works perfectly.

I apologize if I seem a little ignorant, this is my first time using Fedora, and the first time I've even used anything Linux related in 9 or 10 years.
At the moment, because of this problem, I am unable to connect to the internet, so I'm using my fiancèe's computer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, just try to keep it simple in the explanations; I don't know very much about Linux systems at all, and I'm trying to learn.
