Advanced Sound Options

Pretty simple...

I don't know if any of you remember. There was an advanced sound option in Fedora 11. I need those advanced sound options, because I can raise the volume on it. That which is greater than what I can go on 12.

If I try to raise the volume in the sound preferences on 12. I get a static kind of sound. And it seems to have a lock at 100% when I try to raise the volume with my keyboard. Instead of whatever I can get when I raise it in preferences which is like 150% (I don't know the acutal perfentage)

Anywho if you know what I mean maybe you can help me with this problem on 12.

or just tell me how to get those advanced sound preferences that were on 11.

In a terminal window, you can run:

alsamixer -c0

If you have multiple sound cards, change the card number (-c0) to the appropriate card.
