Question How to install flash plugins for firefox in fedora 12

Hi

whenever i opened some site that require some flash player plugin to play some video etc.It shows download plug-in when i click on it , firefox can't find respective plugin and there is option for manual install.

In that case i have downloaded flash plug-in from adobe website and install it with package installer. But again showing same problem...means download plug-in .

I performed the following as found in the provided link...restarted firefox, but still no flash plugin. I took a look at the contents of /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins but the flash plugin is not there. Did i miss something?

Quote:
1. rpm -ivh http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/adobe...0-1.noarch.rpm
2. rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux
3. yum install flash-plugin

If you want the 64-bit plugin then you'll have to download it from Adobe here & put it in the /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins directory.
