Question Re: Pam Face Authentication FC11 x86_64

it was supposed you didn't find the src in your path
because you run ./xxx/ rather than ./xxx
the dir of the applicaiton is different
That's why the program can not find the source

by the way, did you solve the problem of the first case?
I got the same problem~

thnx
You can download the source code from http://code.google.com/p/pam-face-authentication

There you can find the source code install instructions.

Sorry for the very long delay.

I've have a question, if I start my system on runlevel 3 it does not work, how can I activate pam face authentication to work in this runlevel ?
Sorry for the delay, I'll have to check more. It may be to do with a pam config file.

As for text mode. Well when i use a terminal in Gnome and 'su' it pops up a window with my cam. If drop to a shell it still works but no window comes up.

I have uploaded F14 64bit. You can use my repos to download it. http://www.sjdsoft.hk/myyum/fedora/S...nal.noarch.rpm

NB: please uninstall the old program first as I have changed the name to reflect that is independent from GDM or KDE login.

yum remove pam-face*

yum install pam-face-authentication

To come:

i686 files: Due 10 April 2011
Backport 2 F13: Due 10 April 2011 - now 17April 2011
KDE login RPM : To be advised
get it added to Fedora's Repos: To be advised
Setup program to configure what services can use face authentication. GDM Setup, su, Screen Saver.
apply to : To be advised

Regards and have fun ....

Fedora 14 32bit pam-face-authentication ready.

Just use the following repo http://www.sjdsoft.hk/myyum/fedora/S...nal.noarch.rpm

and install the same way.

Re: Pam Face Authentication FC11 x86_64

After a long break, I decided to update pam-faceathentication to F15 What a headache

Any way long story short. I could not get it to compile. But I tested the F12 64bit bin files and they worked.

You can find them here.

http://www.sjdsoft.hk/myyum/rpm/free...c12.x86_64.rpm
http://www.sjdsoft.hk/myyum/rpm/free...c12.x86_64.rpm

I will open up the repo soon once I can compile using the correct opencv for F15.

Re: Pam Face Authentication FC11 x86_64

I'm running F16 x86_64

I don't know why, when I'm running 'qt-facetrainer' it's showing me the error message:

Camera Not Found.
Plugin Your Camera and Try Again.

But when I'm running 'kamoso', my webcam is easily detected. Any help?

Re: Pam Face Authentication FC11 x86_64

Hi, I'm running F16 i686, and am having problems compiling from source... When I run cmake.. I get this..

Code:
cmake -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr ..
-- Checking GNUCXX version 3/4 to determine OpenCV /opt/net/ path
CMake Error at cmake/modules/FindOpenCV.cmake:239 (MESSAGE):
OpenCV required but some headers or libs not found. Please specify it's
  location with OpenCV_ROOT_DIR env. variable.
Call Stack (most recent call first):
  CMakeLists.txt:75 (FIND_PACKAGE)

-- Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!
I'll be the first to admit that I am a noob when it comes to compiling software ... Where do I find which files are missing? I'm not finding any error logs etc... for CMake
