how to give more space to / and less to /home after installing F13?

During F13 installation, I used the default partitioning. Later, after getting everything set up, I found that it had allocated more space than I needed for the /home partition, and not enough for /. For someone who knows basically nothing about LVM, could someone describe how to take some space away from /home and give it to / (without reinstalling)? Thanks. (This question probably deserves a guide.)

You mean like this:
http://fedorasolved.org/Members/zcat...-new-partition

or you could look at:
http://tldp.org/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO/

Personally, I have no use for LVM on a home computer. To each his/her own.

Re: how to give more space to / and less to /home after installing F13?

After some googling I was able to do it by booting into rescue mode, skipping mounting the disks, and using the method at

http://serverfault.com/questions/136...t-lose-of-data

but there really needs to be a guide for this (to avoid all the mistakes in individual posts, like the first one where he says to do the lvreduce before the resize2fs).

I don't understand well enough what I did to write it up. Someone who actually understands LVM should do it. I was just lucky not to hose my system in the process.
