Can ping by IP but DNS won't resolve

I have a vmware guest of Fedora 9 that will ping external addresses, but won't resolve dns. I have several other systems that work just fine.

What's the filename and location that I can manually edit?

Re: Can ping by IP but DNS won't resolve

I believe it is /etc/resolv.conf.

Re: Can ping by IP but DNS won't resolve

Here's mine.
Code:
# Generated by NetworkManager
domain hsd1.ma.comcast.net.
search hsd1.ma.comcast.net.
nameserver 68.87.71.230
nameserver 68.87.73.246
If you don't know or can't find out what you ISP's servers are supposed to be you can use Google's nameservers. There are others you can use also. Google is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
