Yesterday's World of Warcraft patch broke the ability to log in through wine for all the linux players I know. I can enter my name and password, but when I hit enter the game freezes and I get a generic "program has had a problem and need to close" type message, error names or numbers. If I start the game from a shell the same thing happens and no errors print to the shell window. This problem had shown up on the public test of this patch version as well as the beta of Starcraft 2 so it seems to be something related to all the newer Battlenet games.
Can anyone log into WoW through wine now, and if so would you please share your wine version and anything you had to do to get it working?
I know my account is good because I can log in fine in windows.
Thanks.
