Either use gconf-editor (the nice GUI one) and navigate to /apps/gnome-power-manager/notify/perhaps_recall and set to false or use gconf2...
Long description of this key is:-Code:gconftool-2 --set --type bool /apps/gnome-power-manager/notify/perhaps_recall false
Which sounds like what you are asking for...If we should show the recalled battery warning for a broken battery. Set this to false only if you know your battery is okay.

Thanks.. I get this warning in Gnome (Ubuntu and Fedora) and not in KDE (Fedora) which makes me wonder if the battery IS dying or not.
I am suspecting the battery since I get about 20 minutes of time on it.
Linux provides freedom, the problem is most users don't know what it is or how to use it.

where is the apps folder?
Its not a folder
It's a config entry in the gconf configuration database... the gconf2tool line interfaces with the gconf configuration database to set the parameters.

If you use gconf-editor, it is the "low capacity" key that need to be unchecked. The perhaps-recall didn't do anything on mine.
I have this problem. I have also found that although my battery may be 98% charged, but if it is not 100% charged when I unplug the laptop the whole system suddenly says laptop battery critically low computer will be suspended. This is despite the fact it wouldnt run out for another 40 odd minutes. How can I disable fedora suspending my system on low/pseudo-low battery? It is irritating as I am perfectly capable of managing my own use of the battery power.
