stop print process started in thunderbird

I tried to print an email from thunderbird to a brother 9600 MFC and ended up getting pages after pages of nothing. I tired to kill the print process with cancel, then kill "pid". Nothing worked. My printer is still printing page after page. How the hell do I stop it? !@!!@%$

It didn't work. I just removed the printer que and pulled the plug. This stopped the printing but now I need to reinstall the printers. This is a major screw up on the part of Thunderbird. Someone better do something to intergrate Thunderbird with Linux or it is going into the trash bin.

you could try using print manager ("printman"?) or just click on the printer icon on default panel...
