Bluetooth OBEX File Transfer Problems

Hi,

Has anyone had any luck with OBEX file transfer on an f14 machine?

I have a Samsung Hue SCH-R500 that works fine transferring files as long as I use a windows machine to do the work. With my f14 machine I can mount and list the folders but it says (Folder contents could not be displayed, Message did not receive a reply(timeout by message bus)). This is also the case with my f14 laptop. Does anyone have an idea how to approach this problem?

Thanks!

Both mine and my wifes Nokias work just fine with Fedora 14.

Are you using Blueman? if not it may be worth a go. It has a far better interface.

Not sure which interface is blueman although it says it is installed. I am using the f14 default browser.
Thanks

Re: Bluetooth OBEX File Transfer Problems

hi,
The software must have been updated recently, Because I have unpaired and now cannot pair with either linux machine. It used to pair with no problem other than the file transfer issue mentioned above. Perhaps I will get a new phone from santa this year.
