Question Fedora 15 XFCE and SMB

Hi all,

Fedora 15 XFCE Live works fine with SMB shares after installing only gvfs-smb. However, after applying all current updates when I go to Network > navigate to a share > I get a screen asking for the correct application to use.

Has anyone else seen anything as shown in the attached picture? Do you know how to resolve?

Thanks

Re: Fedora 15 XFCE and SMB

Answered in the bug you filed, but adding here too:

Was Thunar updated in the updates you did? How about gvfs-smb?

(You can check /var/log/yum.log)

I'll look around and see if there is any known issues about this...

Re: Fedora 15 XFCE and SMB

Please see Red Hat Bugzilla link https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=712469 - It appears the Thunar update listed on the link is causing the issue.

Re: Fedora 15 XFCE and SMB

Yep. Thats me (the Thunar maintainer) answering you there.

I really don't see a change that would have caused this in 1.2.2, but I will keep digging around. Thanks for the bug report!
