Re: fedora 15 Meego Spin

Hi,

Just arrived in my inbox is a message from bug tracking system where Fedora Mobility maintainer tell us to forget about Meego UX on top
of Fedora for some time, sad news but upstream is to blame, mostly...

Re: fedora 15 Meego Spin

Sad news indeed, I also tried building MeeGo live-image but had same errors as barbod. I removed those packages from MeeGo kickstart-file, so I was able to build the image but when trying to log into X, it just throws me back to login screen.

Thought I'm fascinated to find out whats the problem and if I can help to fix it.

seems at least one dev is working on these build problems stoping fedora meego ux/spin to exists,
changelog has his email address so maybe you could contact him !

update: there are more Meego related items now built:

Re: fedora 15 Meego Spin

Thanks Ssl for the links, I'll look into this more and then decide if I could help.

Although Fedora build system and development is totally new to me so this will be great learning experience
