I tried to install some good working linux distribution on my pc since I am getting angry about my previous windows installation...
I looked around and found that fedora would be the best for me.
But unfortunatly the problems startet with the installation on my new pc:
Athlon XP 64 3200
Asus K8V SE Deluxe
(with that Promise chip onboard)
I build a RAID 0 in the Promise BIOS and it worked fine with Windows XP but troubles with FC2.
When I am booting with the first installation CD it loads the promise driver. On the point where I should be able to set up the needed partitions, there are only two single HDDs found, no RAID at all
But I like to install FC2 on that RAID, because I need to set up a dual boot system with windows xp for some old stuff not working under linux (and some games
Does anybody have an idea, how I can do this?
In the worst case: is there any other distribution that works fine with that Raid?
Thank you for your patience
