yum update broken

Hi, I left Fedora running doing updates, and when I came back from lunch, the Screen was frozen, and the disk activity light was solid green, wasn't flickering.

This is a fresh Fedora install, and then installed development tools, and then finally did

Code:

yum update -y

Now the problem is, when I boot it up. It drops down to recovery (Control-D) to resume. But I want to check if the update was successful so I put in the root password and did

Code:

yum update -y

again, and now I'm getting the following errors.

/usr/lib/libssl.so.10: file too short

I've attached screenshots.

Please tell me how to fix this? Thanks!

I gave it a restart and then it dropped to run FSCK manually. I ran it, had a HUGE bunch of inode invalid values 1 to 0 or 0 to 1 or 1 to 2, etc, along with some multiple entries of something.

Now did a reboot and there is a kernel panic or something, I guess I gotta reinstall.
