XFCE saving my session even when I tell it not to.

Hello everyone. I have Fedora 15. I downloaded the main version (with GNOME3) but I hated GNOME, so I installed XFCE. Everything works fine, except that XFCE keeps saving my session even when I uncheck the box not do. It gets rather annoying sometimes. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix?

That is a known bug in the XFCE session manager.

They do have a patch listed, but not sure if it works or if you want to try it on fedora or not.

I had the same problem and can confirm that the second workaround they give (setting AutoSave and SaveOnExit to false) works. You can set those using xfce4-settings-editor or manually editing the file ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-session.xml
