Memory Allocation Issue with MySQL Cluster

Hello,
I'm running MySQL Cluster in 3 machines with fedora.
I have problem when i try to set the datamemory of the cluster under 1,4 Gb,
i get an error that say's unable to allocate memmory in nodes.
There is a restriction from OS with this , when one process try to allocate huge capacity of memmory??
