FC16 - Not complete login and Gnome 3 screen

Hello,

After upgrading FC15 to FC16, the login screen is not complete.
First of all, it has a bad top panel is not black and the icons are unreadable.
And second, the login window has also a bad coloured rectangle above my login name.
Fortunately, the texts in the login window are good.

After logging in, the Gnome 3 desktop has the same bad top panel and the popup menus of that panel are also bad readable.

Please, what can be the reason why this happens on FC16?

My kernel and nvidia card and drivers:

In FC15, all was very good and it was a pleasure to work with it.

Because of that problem in FC16, from now I work with Xfce4, and the interface of it, the desktop is complete without any trouble.

exactly the same bugs ,with nvidia GeForce FX 5200

It may be a problem with the Nouveau driver on your particular GeForce version.

Try installing the nVidia binary driver (see http://rpmfusion.org/Howto/nVidia).

yeah, this sounds like a nouveau driver bug with your particular hardware. Can you take a look through existing xorg-x11-drv-nouveau bugs:

http://bugz.fedoraproject.org/xorg-x11-drv-nouveau

and see if it looks like any of those, and if not, file a new bug with the information listed at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_t..._Xorg_problems ? Thanks!

Thanks for the replies.

I have looked to the xorg-x11-drv-nouveau bugs list and found something.
Bug 745202 gnome-shell does not display correctly with Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 from 2011-10-11 describes for a x86_64 Linux system the same symptoms as I have now on my i686 computer.

I looked in my notes of previous fedora versions.
FC14 and earlier versions worked with kmod-nvidia-173xx.
In FC15 it doesn't go any more and from then I use xorg-x11-drv-nouveau.

I can try to install the kmod-nvidia-173xx driver again, but I think to wait for a solution for the nouveau driver.
