Re: F16 Kmail - lost all email in conversion
@mps2006
Now if I could just find something that would look to my network like an imap server but actually get my mail with pop3s I'd be really happy with my mail. That is, if thunderbird or kmail tries to get my pop3 mail from verizon, I want to have a service on my network that proxies the imap connection from thunderbird, actually gets the mail from verizon with pop3s but serves it to my network as imap. Of course in thunderbird I'd have to point it to go to the imap server on my network, and the imap server would look to verizon, get the pop3s mail and provide it by imap to thunderbird. I hear people say dovecot and citadel will do that but it looks complicated.
Is there such a thing?
