workaround for clicking from speakers after waking KDE from sleep

KDE 4 has a problem on my machine (Fedora 15 x64) that when I wake it from sleep mode the speakers click continuously from then on. The workaround I found is to go to Kmix, hit the mute button and the unmute it.

I would guess that any sound control that mutes and unmutes would work
