I'm running Fedora 16 and I'd like to run Fluxbox as my window manager on my laptop. I need the applet that shows the battery status to run as well. But I can not find the name of the applet anywhere. Others have reported using gnome-power-manager, but there is no application named gnome-power-manager in fedora 16 that I can find. There is a rpm package called gnome-power-manager, but the only executable in it is gnome-power-statistics.
When I run gnome shell and the applet is displayed, if I do ps, I see nothing that looks like a power monitoring applet. The only processes that seem to have anything to do with power is upowerd.
If I run gnome-session-properties, again I see nothing that looks like a power monitoring applet.
Can anyone please tell me where the battery monitoring applet on fedora 16 is found. This is frustrating me very much.
