I apologize for the very broad topic title. I have quite a dilemma on my hands and am hoping you all could help me out. Here is the full story...
I wanted a dual boot set up with Fedora and Windows XP. I installed Windows XP first, knowing that it has a reputation to mess the GRUB up. I then installed Fedora 14 and encrypted its file system. Down the road, I had forgotten to register XP with a product key and tried to do so after the 30 day period ran out. It was forced to reinstall and now the boot menu at the beginning that allowed me to select Fedora or Windows is gone. I recently tried installing Ubuntu to see if I would be able to manually add Fedora back to the grub menu but no luck. I can post the menuentry I added later to the grub.cfg in Ubuntu if it will help, but I wasn't sure if there was an easier way to recover Fedora 14.
I'm open to any suggestions and any help is greatly appreciated. For now, I'm heading to sleep but will be working on this again tomorrow evening.
