Question Update Google Chrome

I'm using Google Chrome. On Windows, each time I need to update Google, I check "About Google Chrome" and Chrome will be automatic check update for me. On Fedora 16, I do like that again. (open "About Google Chrome" dialog) , but Chrome doesn't check update for me.
(I know because Google Chrome official version up to 17, but my linux machine just 16)
Help me how to update Chrome on Fedora,please.

Thanks

Re: Update Google Chrome

Do you have the google repository configured? I seem to have version 17 of Google Chrome and I am using the google repo.
PHP Code:
rpm -qa grep chrome
xorg
-x11-drv-openchrome-0.2.904-16.fc16.x86_64
google
-chrome-stable-17.0.963.56-121963.x86_64

Re: Update Google Chrome

Assuming you installed it using the rpm from their website, it checks and updates through yum.
It will have auto-created a repo at /etc/yum.repos.d/google-chrome.repo. If you are missing that,
then just create the file with the following:
Code:
[google-chrome]
name=google-chrome
baseurl=http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64
metadata_expire=1d
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1

---------- Post added at 09:21 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:21 AM ----------

You may need to modify the baseurl if you aren't using 64bit like I am.

Re: Update Google Chrome

@glennzo: Here my console result:

rpm -qa | grep chrome
google-chrome-stable-16.0.912.77-118311.x86_64
xorg-x11-drv-openchrome-0.2.904-16.fc16.x86_64
