how do i script downloads?

how do i make scripts any good guides on that and can someone construct me a script on

a script to save everywebsite i go to and lets say to save the link and name of video to a file kind of like youtube favorite list and download every video from youtube and other website possible without double downloads

i think its highly wasteful to keep using up bandwith when i can just load up it from a local store

i think/ know this is very importain since alot of videos get deleted from youtube and video title gone from favorite list

this is one way to preserve videos i want to watch forever

there be many good videos gone and idk what they are since there gone

Re: how do i script downloads?

I would use youtube-dl at least for youtube.

Note that while we're not intense grammar folks here, many people will simply ignore a post with no punctuation or use of upper and lower case.

If English isn't your native language, I apologize for the above statement, and just take it as a compliment on your current English level, that I thought you were a native speaker.

Re: how do i script downloads?

If you have Firefox you can use the extension Video Download Helper. Works with any website that ships videos in flash or h264 and lets you download the video file.
You might want to check out also the extensions page on mozilla's website, you may find other useful extensions for saving videos from websites.
