Re: How to install virtual machine in fedora

Add the virtualbox repo - Found in the VirtualBox website and then

Code:
yum install VirtualBox-4.1
Also, the repository file (for convenience)

Quote:
[virtualbox]
name=Fedora $releasever - $basearch - VirtualBox
baseurl=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/fedora/$releasever/$basearch
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc

Re: How to install virtual machine in fedora

As root, just the put the contents (above) in a new file - /etc/yum.repos.d/virtualbox.repo. After you have created the file,

Code:
yum install VirtualBox-4.1 dkms kernel-devel gcc
Some of these might already be installed in your system. If there are no errors, you should have VirtualBox installed. Post if you encounter some problems.

Nevermind - mis-read on my part.
