No touchpad after upgrade F16 to kernel-3.2.9-1.fc16.x86_64
After the latest update to kernel-3.2.9-1.fc16.x86_64 the touchpad stopped working on Acer Aspire 5742.

Yeah, i've got the same problem. Acer Aspire One D270. I guess i'd better lodge a bug report...

What makes you think it's the kernel update and not the xorg update that broke it?

Could be xorg. I'm not sure. Had no time to investigate further yet. I'm not sure where the module is loaded yet.

I rebooted with the previous kernel version and my touchpad still didn't work, so i guess it was the xorg update that broke it, not the kernel update.

Not in my case. Working fine on a previous kernel. That's why I suspect it's something to do with the kernel, but I cannot investigate now...
