default desktop for VNC (Fedora 16)

Hello,

I have 3 desktops installed (Gnome, KDE, and Cinnamon). And I have TigerVNC server configured to autostart via systemd. My default desktop for local logons is cinnamon. However, it looks like the desktop presented to VNC clients is Gnome Shell (in fall back mode). This could however be actually running cinnamon in fall back mode, but it looks like Gnome Shell sans the 3D.

This presents several questions:

1) Is there a way to configure VNC server to present cinnamon to VNC clients?
2) Is there a way to tell what desktop I am really running via VNC?
3) Can VNC support 3D? My guess is no.

I would love to know the answer aswell. Local login gives me cinnamon, but vnc 5901 gives me Gnome 3.
