Laptop Hang when Adjusting screen brightness

Hi,
I'm using DELL Inspiron N5010 laptop. I have install Fedora 16 in it and using GNOME Desktop Environment.
Adjusting screen brightness through its function key or the System setting of Screen, the laptop stop working and hangs.
Same thing happen with the KDE Environment.
Its preety bad to restart system forcely (By Pressing Power Button), whenever it hang it make all running things to loss.
Please help me out ?

same problem. And my laptop is dell n4010.
when i adjust the screen brightness, it will freeze. The sysrq key won't help.
Did you solve this problem, dude?
