Virt-Manager - How to share host computer files with guest

Hi
I have configured a windows xp machine in Virt-Manager.
After installing the windows, I am unable to do anything..

How can I share the files and folders of Host Machine
How can I share USB Device of Host Machine

These two are fantastic in Virtual Box.
Now without this my Virt-Manager VM is waste and is of no use

If any of the above two are resolved, I could do many things in Virt-Manager
I am not able to use Virtual Box after the kernel update.
Could you help
Yours
VN

Re: Virt-Manager - How to share host computer files with guest

The VirtualBox modules need to be rebuilt after there is a kernel update.
From a terminal:
PHP Code:
su
<password>
/
etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup
That should get VirtualBox back up and running.

To automate this process there is something called DKMS. Research that one.

Re: Virt-Manager - How to share host computer files with guest

There should be a way to pass-through a file system but I haven't got that one to work (I think it needs something installed or setup in the guest).
Though passing through a USB device is trivial: go to your guest > details pane > add hardware > USB host device > select the device you want to add and click complete.
