[Solved] Gnome-Tweak-Tool and Gnome Extensions Fedora 17

I installed Gnome-Tweak-tools, gnome-shell-extension-common and gnome-shell-extension-alternative-status-menu, via Add/Remove Software following a clean install of FEDORA 17 64bit.

However when I go into the Advanced Settings to select the extension as an option, no options were shown. The same happened when I installed gnome-shell-theme-ambiance.

Is there a problem with the tweak tool or have I missed a step? I understand I can try and install extensions via the Extensions website but if installing from th repos is still an option I'd rather do that. Any help appreciated.

Did you restart Gnome Shell? Hit alt/f2 and enter the letter r. Then press enter. Now see if the extensions are enabled.

Re: Gnome-Tweak-Tool and Gnome Extensions Fedora 17

I downloaded the London Smoke-Gnome Shell theme. Now I don't know how to set it up so I can use the theme. Can anyone tell me where I need to put the file so the Gnome Tweak Tool will recognize it and I can use it?

Re: Gnome-Tweak-Tool and Gnome Extensions Fedora 17

Put it in a directory/folder in your home folder named ".themes"

Once it's there, restart gnome shell, start Advanced Settings (Gone-tweak-tool) and it should be available as an option under shell themes.
