Exclamation Installing the USB-Modem Conitech CN415U

Hello,
I'm trying to install the USB modem-Conitech CN415U on my Fedpra16 LXDE.
This is the output of LSUSB:

Code:
[root@pippo /]# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 058f:6362 Alcor Micro Corp. Flash Card Reader/Writer
Bus 003 Device 013: ID 0483:0138 SGS Thomson Microelectronics Unicorn II (ST70138B + MTC-20174TQ chipset)
The driver for the UNICORN II should be these:
http://code.google.com/p/unicorn-ii-...-linux-driver/

but I can not compile it, when I type MAKE he says:
Code:
[pippo@pippo unicorn]$ make
make -C /lib/modules/3.1.0-7.fc16.i686/build M=/home/pippo/Downloads/unicorn
make: *** /lib/modules/3.1.0-7.fc16.i686/build: File o directory non esistente. Stop.
make: *** [all] Errore 2
why?

can someone help me?
Thanks.

p.s.
I have already installed with YUM this packages: "@development-tools" "make" "gcc" "gcc-c++" "kernel-devel" "linux-atm-libs-devel"

Re: Installing the USB-Modem Conitech CN415U

I managed to compile the drivers UNICORN II, I had to install a version of the kernel-devel compatible with my linux kernel:

Code:
yum install kernel-devel-3.1.0-7.fc16.i686

Now finally the modem lights up! But he can not in any way to hook the line, the ADSL LED flashes indefinitely.

Only once has managed to tap into the ADSL line, I do not know by what strange alchemy:

What should I do to make it work?

Re: Installing the USB-Modem Conitech CN415U

Showtime usually means the modem is connected to your DSLAM, or how you put it "tapped into the line".

Please check your protocol parameters

Quote:
PROTOCOL=pppoatm,VPI=8,VCI=35,ENCAPS=llc-encaps
Are you absolutely sure your ISP is using pppoatm and VPI=8 and VCI=35?

I already tried with pppoe, but it did not work. However, the only time that the modem is able to hook the line, was set to pppoatm. (on Windows work only in pppoatm)
