fedora core 3 fails to boot

I was succesful installing fedora core 3 (32-bit version) on my newly upgraded A64 rig. However, Grub refuses to load plus some of the post-install options required did not appear at all. What could be the problem? Btw, I am trying to setup a dual-boot config of fedora core 3 and windows xp pro sp2. here's my current hardware setup:

Windows XP Professional SP2
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Winchester Socket 939 (1.81 Ghz)
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum Nforce3 Ultra Mainboard
Geil Valueram 512mb (running dual-channel)
Thermaltake Venus 12 HSF
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
GeCube ATI Radeon 9550 Platinum Edition 128MB
Seagate Barracuda 40GB 7200 RPM Hard Disk Drive

hi,
if you don't see psot intall message it means the installaion was not completted successfuly, the grub isntallaion is the last of installaion process,so now try to boot with the frist cd then type linux rescue and install your grub boot loader.
